The first exhibition dedicated to orchids, bonsai and weddings in Palermo will take place from 4th to 14th February, 2022. Gitto Garden, in via Castelforte 100, provides an ideal setting for an event designed both for plant lovers and lovers of greenery. Future brides and grooms can also find inspiration their wedding.
Two different initiatives are planned: the “Orchids and Bonsai Show” and the “SposiAmoci Fair”. Visitors will have the opportunity to walk among beautifully colored orchids, such as Paphiopedilum, Dendrobium and Epidendrum, and admire original bonsai created in Sicily.
Limited free courses related to the history, characteristics and care of orchids and bonsai will be available. The courses will be held by the orchid expert Matias Abel Pera who, together with the bonsai master Francesco Giammona, will guide the participants to discover this fantastic world. Experts will also be on hand to give gardening advice and free samples for treatment and prevention.
As for the component of the exhibition dedicated weddings, future spouses will be able to peruse stands dedicated to photograhy, floral decorations, travel agency, hairstyles and make-up, catering, musical entertainment and wedding dresses. Ceremony, proposals for favors, furnishings, accessories and much more.
An opportunity to see what’s on offer, there will also be tastings, make-up and hairstyle tests, shooting, cake design demonstrations and many ideas for an unforgettable wedding.
The garden will come alive over the weekend, with events for both adults and children, including live music, good food and entertainment for all.
