The 2021 critically acclaimed White Lotus television series created, written, and directed by Mike White is getting rave reviews and this season is gaining even more popularity than the last.

The White Lotus plot and cast
The series focuses on the personal and professional experiences of a resort’s staff and guests over the course of a week, telling the lives of the staff members who every day must satisfy the demands of wealthy customers, but also those of a group of guests who arrive to spend a week’s vacation. The first season was set in Hawaii, while this season takes us to wonderful Sicily.
Murray Bartlett, Connie Britton, Steve Zahn, Jennifer Coolidge, Alexandra Daddario are only some actors of the cast of this unmissable TV series, which combines irony and drama and uncovers the veil we hide behind, takes our insecurities and fragility hidden behind the boldness of the day to the extreme.
A bit about the White Lotus season 2 location
Housed in what was a convent in the 14th century, today it is one of the most sought-after addresses by celebrities who have always come to Italy and who often expressly ask to stay in the special suites named after Etna, the Theater or Princess Cecilia of Greece and Denmark, who stayed at the San Domenico Palace in 1906 on the occasion of her honeymoon with her husband William II, Royal Prince of the German Empire.
When the protagonists of The White Lotus leave the hotel, other locations such as the Castello degli Schiavi, just outside Taormina, or the luxury Villa Tasca, a private villa located in Palermo appear in all their magnificence, making the series aperfect combination of fun, entertainment, and culture.
The White Lotus took home the statuettes for Best Miniseries or TV Movie and Best Supporting Actress in a Series thanks to the performance of Jennifer Coolidge during the Golden Globes 2023 awards ceremony which took place last 10th January.
