This year’s theme, “Art Makes Peace: The Infiorata That Unites, Hope Beyond Borders,” invites visitors to reflect on unity and harmony through intricate floral designs crafted by local and international artists.
The festival kicks off on Friday, May 16, with artists beginning their creations, and the floral displays will be open to the public from 9:00 AM on Saturday, May 17, through Tuesday, May 20.
Beyond the floral art, the Infiorata is part of Noto’s “Primavera Barocca” (Baroque Spring), featuring concerts, exhibitions, and the Baroque Procession with participants in period costumes parading through the city’s UNESCO-listed streets.
